Thrunite TC15 Review- Brightest EDC Flashlight on the Market?
text from video
three minutes additionally and that’s
obviously on a full charge and does feel
a little warm but that’s twenty three
hundred lumens we’re talking there and
remember the high mode which is 1050
will last for 90 minutes which is pretty
cool because most flashlights will
actually go to a turbo mode of around
1000 get hot and then step down after
like two minutes where is this one you
have like 90 minutes on it obviously you
know be careful with the temperature and
it might step down if it gets too hot
you know just to protect light but the
idea that you can have it that bright is
pretty cool in a package this size your
clip will just kind of slip right in as
you can see there’s no like clicky cap
on the back and also it’s non-magnetic
either so for you guys I’d like those
things you know this is probably not the
light for you but what I like about it
is like it’s like a genuine everyday
light you know you’re not gonna worry
about your keys and stuff getting like
magnetically stuck to the cap or
anything like that it’s just meant to be
an everyday light click it from the
front and you know pretty easy UI last
one actually I forgot to show you guys
was the strobe so it actually has memory
function so that goes back to wherever
you had it before low medium or high
but the strobe it says I believe it was
a triple click which I wasn’t working
for me but a quadruple click does get
you the strobe so you guys could count
those clicks but I’m pretty sure that
was four clicks right there that
guessing is a strobe but either way you
know me I’m more of a turbo kind of guy
and then probably I like the Firefly I
think that one’s pretty cool so you know
pretty interesting light so far so I
just want to show you all the recharging
it should be relatively simple I got my
little extension cable here so I can
show you all so charging you see here it
should light up so it is a little
difficult to see but you can see there
red indicating that it is actually
charging blue indicate that it’s fully
charged and purple will indicate an
abnormal charge which was part of the
malfunction I was getting initially when
I first got it but what’s cool about it
is that you could actually use the
flashlight while it’s charging so you
could literally just plug it in and use
it and this is even with taking out the
battery so if this thing had no battery
in it you could literally just like hook
it up
and use the light now you might not get
all the settings but the fact that you
can still use light is pretty cool in my
opinion now the LED is a Cree x HP 35
LED with a life span of 20 years the
dimensions on this light just if you
want to compare it to other lights is
gonna be 120 2.5 millimeters by 27
millimeters by 24 millimeters and the
weight is 71 grams without the battery
and the battery I showed you all earlier
but I’ll give you a better look at it so
y’all can see it here this is a 3100
milliamp battery IMR and this is the one
that comes with let’s see how it wears
and let’s also see how it does outdoors
so we’re gonna start with the Firefly
mode which is just the one lumen and you
can see it there and we’re gonna turn
into a dimly lit staircase so not too
much there we’ll go to the low and you
can see there it transitions nicely
there’s not like a really bright hotspot
it’s more of a nice flooding type of
light around the area which is nice
we’ll go up this I believe is our medium
low medium high so there’s our high mode
and then we’ll jump the turbo so really
bright actually kind of blinding person
then we’ll try that strobe so Party
